Bye Bye Kisses

With Peyotn's vocabulary finally blossoming she is very into copying everything I say and do (better watch out!). The other day I was blowing her kisses and she just started to blow them right back complete with sound effects! Now everytime I say "bye bye" she says "byyyye" and blows me a kiss. It melts my heart to see her growing up so quickly and to watch her personality really come through. I fall in love with her more and more each day!

Summer Fun

Here are a few pictures of what we've been up to this summer. Bubbles, baths, fishing, and lake...wow...we've been busy!

(Andrea and I had a small accident while tubing...she fell off and I her hand and my mouth collided...but man did we have fun!)

Our Other trip to the beach

A few weeks back we took another trip to the beach with more friends and family and stayed in Chery Grove. Peyton enjoyed the beach a little more this time because she was walking and able to keep up with her buddies! We had such a wonderful time and can not wait to go back next year because after all this is a "growing tradition"! Here are some pictures of our fun!!

This is the new proud papa of TWINS! Dustin and Abbie told us at the beach that they were expecting by giving us all matching tie-died shirts with the names that their baby/BABIES would hopefully call us. On the front of the shirt it said Myrtle Beach 09..."A Growing Tradition"...Later they found out that they are expecting TWINS! It most certainly is a GROWING tradition!

Indiana Memories

They say that a picture is worth a thousand words so lets hope that saying holds true for blogs! With just a few days before we head out again I wanted to show everyone some of the pictures we took to capture the moments of Peyton's first trip up to Indiana to meet Dustin's family. We had such a great time relaxing and visiting with family that we truly hated to come home. We miss everyone up there already (and Peyton especially misses her furry friends). One of our many fun finds on the 7 hour trip to New Albany. We were extremely happy to finally get to New Albany and see the "M&M" double Decker bridge.

Of course our first stop was Arni's pizza...where else?

We went to surprise Ga Goo (Grandma Kaiser) and let her meet her Great Grand babies for the first time.

After a good night's rest we headed out the next morning to Dave and Deb's house and Peyton got to meet her new best bud, Tho!

Peyton also got her first up close encounter with Bub, one of Dave and Deb's horses.

Peyton got really sleepy and in turn really attached to Grandma!

The next day was the Fourth of July.

We gathered together for a family picture under the New Albany sign.

After a visit to the cemetery, the girls took a drive in their matching outfits!

Happy Birthday America! To celebrate America's birthday Peyton started walking!

The next day we went up to see more family in Seymour! Where Peyton met another fury friend named...PEYTON! :)

Because of Peyton being able to motor around she got her first bleeding boo-boo in Seymour and had to get band aids...Thanks Aunt Nonnie!

The girls had a great time splashing in the pond in Day Day's backyard.

The grandparents had a fantastic time getting all of the kids together. After a little time playing in Grandma's garden it was time to say goodbye.

Four Generations.

We said our goodbyes with a promise to be back really soon...

We really had a great time visiting. Thanks to all of our fantastic family to putting up with us invading your homes. It was so great to see you all again and I am so glad Peyton got a chance to meet everyone. I hope that we can come back up before another year passes.

These booties were made for walking...

Yes, you can believe your eyes! That is our sweet baby girl walking around. Thanks from some motivation from her buddies already on the move Peyton started walking last Saturday. Since then she has perfected her moves and has gotten brave enough to walk anywhere she is let loose. I can't believe that she's walking around...reality is slapping me in the face with just how big she is getting.

Beach Bums

The first week of June our family took our first trip to the beach with Peyton! We went down to Surfside Beach for seven glorious days of sun, surf, and sand. Here are a few pictures of our adventures

Peyton had a BLAST playing (and eating) in the sand. She did not like the ocean though. Her first day and experience at the beach really wore her out, enough so to take a nap on the beach while Mommy caught some rays.
Peyton had fun splashing with Daddy, wether it was in the pool or in the bath!

Peyton deffinately prooved to be a sun godess just like her Mommy and loved being outside tanning...hee hee! She even got little tan lines in her rolls!

I asked Dustin to get his and Peyton's hats on before walking down to the beach one afternoon. I looked up and there they were, happy as larks wearing the wrong hats. They walked the entire 3 minute walk to the beach with these hats. I walked behind them laughing at the goofy loves of my life.

Of course I couldn't leave the beach without getting a picture of Peyton's cute chunky feet in the sand.
There was a baby swing on the backporch of the house we stayed at and Peyton was so content to sit and swing and read a magazine in the mornings. :)
On the morning after Dustin had to unexpectedly go home to go back to work a few of us to a trip to Georgetown to get some fresh shrimp for dinner that night. Apparently there were alligators there...hungry alligators that like to eat chubby babies.

All in all we had a fantastic time at the beach. Peyton enjoyed exploring all kinds of new things and was a good sport the entire time. We can't wait to go back in a few weeks and have many more adventures. Summer is prooving to be great so far!
