Every time the Thompson family gets together you can bet that there will be some sort of competition going on. Whether it is playing spades, or Trivial Pursuit, or even who can name the best basketball players ever to walk the earth, the Thompsons are in a constant state of game playing. This Thanksgiving we got together for a breakfast at David and Amber's house and what do you know, a competition sparked!
This game we called the Holey Ball Toss! We found a ball of Kaya's that was filled with holes on every side. There was mention that the ball would be impossible to drop and that's all that was needed to be said to pose a challenge and start the game. Of course there were trick throws, bad throws, bad catches, and near misses, but it was a game that allowed us all to be together and just let loose a little. The girls were both sleeping during the game but they can partake next year when they are old enough to get in the Thompson competitive spirit, God bless their soles!
