Peyton has a new found love for her fist, as long as it's in her mouth!
She has discovered her hands and goes cross-eyed trying to watch them move around. Since they are such funny looking things she decided to try them in her mouth, because all things taste better with baby slobber!
There is nothing better than curling up on the couch and watching a little football or basketball on the tube, at least that's the opinion of my two couch-potatoes! Peyton and Daddy assume this position a lot and can sit with each other and watch TV for hours! I'm investing in some educational videos to slip in on them, I don't think they'll notice!
Peyton loves her "tummy-time" and is really getting the hang of holding that sweet little head up. In these pictures we are practicing the "Daddy I want a pony and Mommy wants a necklace" face...I think she's perfected it!
Before Peyton was born I got her a "Bumbo" seat from a consignment store. It is a little rubber seat that supports a baby's back so that they can sit up. It comes with a tray so that she can eat on it or play with toys. Because she is doing so well with holding her head up I decided to see if she could sit in it, and low and behold she did great! Daddy was so proud when he saw her! She looked like a two-year old to me sitting up by herself, she's growing up so fast I wish I could slow time!
